Before Your Visit

Important points

• Arrival There is a reception desk, so please arrive 10–15 minutes before your appointment time.
• Cancellation fee 50% the day before / 100% on the day. Date changes may be treated the same way.
• Payment Please pay on the day at the store by cash, card or PayPay.
• Bringing your own items Conditions apply to the number and type. We cannot compensate for loss of or damage to items you bring.
• Commercial use Prior application is required for promotional materials, advertising, monetized social media / videos and the like.
• Eligibility for our women’s services Owing to the changing and preparation spaces, our services are offered to those whose physical characteristics are female.
• Check the store We have sister stores nearby—please make sure you are at the correct store.

About your arrival time

There is a reception desk, so please arrive 10–15 minutes before your appointment time. If you arrive late, we may need to move you to a later time.

What to bring

Please bring anything you need to freshen up your makeup on the way home. Cleansing, face wash, toner, lotion, a hair dryer, curling and flat irons and towels are available at the store. If you have sensitive skin, please bring your own basic skincare. Please note that we do not sell or rent colored contact lenses.

Bringing your own items

For plans that do not state a limit, you may bring up to 3 items in total. If you would like to bring your own items, please contact us in advance.

What to wear on the day

Your clothing and makeup on arrival can be as usual. If you are considering a plan where the shoulders are exposed, please avoid underwear such as a bra-top.

Cancelling your reservation

A cancellation fee of 50% of the plan price applies the day before your reserved date, and 100% on the day. If your plans change, please contact us as early as possible.

For Maiko experience guests

When applying the makeup base, we spread it over the whole face and around the eyes, like a facial massage. If you wear hard contact lenses, you will need to remove them, so please bring your storage solution and case. Soft contact lenses do not need to be removed.

Normally we style you with a “half-wig” that uses your own hair around the face. Your bangs and side hair need to be at least 10–15 cm long. If your hair is shorter, we will use a “full wig.”

Commercial use of your photo data

Copyright of the photo data belongs to us. Photo data purchased from us may be used freely only for personal, non-commercial purposes. If you wish to use it commercially, a commercial-use fee applies, so please apply in advance. If unauthorized commercial use is discovered, we may take legal action.

Eligibility for our women’s services

Our women’s services are run on the premise of women-only changing and preparation environments. Given our current facilities and operations, they are offered to those whose physical characteristics are female.

Access

We are on the 3rd floor of Randen “Arashiyama Station.” You can also reach us on foot in about 10 minutes from JR “Saga-Arashiyama Station” or Hankyu “Arashiyama Station.” We have sister stores, so please take care not to mistake the location.
