The conditions for using our services
These Terms set out the conditions for using the transformation-photo services and related products provided by STUDIO KOKORO ARASHIYAMA (Kyoto Kokoro Group; hereafter âweâ). By making a reservation or visiting us, you agree to these Terms.
Reservations
Submitting the application form alone does not confirm your reservation. It is confirmed only when we reply (by email or phone). For dates in the near future, confirmation by phone may be required.
Payment & fees
Fees follow the amounts shown on each plan page (consumption tax included). If you add purchases or options, staff will explain them on the day and settle the additional amount with your agreement. For payment details, please see the Notation based on the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
Cancellation & date changes
As a rule, cancellations are charged 50% of the plan fee the day before and 100% on the day. Date changes may be treated the same way. Conditions may differ by plan or studio.
Costumes & accessories
Please handle costumes and accessories with care. If soiling or damage beyond normal use occurs, you may be asked to bear repair costs. For loss or breakage, you may be asked to pay an amount equivalent to the itemâs price.
Bringing your own items
You may bring your own props and accessories, but we may decline depending on the number or nature of items. We cannot be held responsible for loss of or damage to items you bring.
Use of photo data
Copyright in the photo data belongs to us. Photos you purchase may be used freely for non-commercial personal use (posting on social media, sharing with family and friends, etc.). Commercial use requires prior consultation and application and a specified commercial-use fee. Unauthorized commercial use, if discovered, may be subject to additional charges or legal action.
Conditions for services for women
Our services for women are run on the premise of changing and preparation facilities for women only. Given our current facilities and operations, we guide those whose physical characteristics are female.
Disclaimer
If we cannot provide the service due to natural disasters, equipment failure or other unavoidable causes, we will endeavor to offer an alternative date and other reasonable measures, but we cannot be held responsible for incidental damages arising therefrom.
Personal information
We use personal information only to the extent necessary to handle reservations and inquiries, and as a rule do not provide it to third parties. For details, please see our Privacy Policy.
Changes & governing law
We may revise these Terms as necessary. Revised Terms take effect once posted on this page. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and any dispute relating to the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our location as the court of first instance. In the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese version of these Terms shall prevail.
