In fact, we have many male customers who visit alone and enjoy their photo sessions, each creating their own unique world.
While the Kyoto Kokoro Group offers several plans specifically for men, here we’d like to introduce two plans you can experience at STUDIO KOKORO ARASHIYAMA!
First up is the “Ibaraki Dōji” Yokai Transformation Plan.
When it comes to Japanese ogres, Ibaraki Dōji is so famous that he’s often mentioned in the same breath as “Shuten Dōji.”This is a truly spectacular plan that lets you transform into this legendary ogre!

Through makeup, hairstyling, and lighting, we create a presence that’s truly otherworldly.

Even for men who don’t usually wear makeup, watching the “non-human” look take shape is a truly fresh experience.

The customer featured here opted for the Smoke Machine Option (3,850 yen, tax included).
The addition of smoke instantly enhances the mysterious and fantastical atmosphere!

Next, we’d like to introduce the Samurai Plan, which is extremely popular among our international guests.
This is an authentic samurai experience where you’ll pose in a dignified traditional Japanese outfit rather than armor.
With a sword in hand, you’ll look just like the hero of a Japanese movie.
It’s a plan where the simplicity really brings out a mature, sophisticated charm.
Hair and makeup are not included in this plan, but you can add wound makeup (1,650 yen, tax included) as an option.
This adds a realistic, battle-hardened atmosphere, allowing you to immerse yourself even further in the world of the samurai.
Use props to enhance the atmosphere even more!
In addition to the sword, we also provide a traditional Japanese umbrella that covers your head.
Simply hiding your eyes slightly behind the umbrella adds a touch of rugged charm, creating a shot that looks like a scene straight out of a movie.
One of the charms of this plan is how a small prop can dramatically change the impression of your photos.
The key to looking like a samurai is to stand tall and confident.
