Ittanmomen Yokai Plan

This guest requested a more natural makeup style, so I focused on enhancing her natural features. Although our Yokai transformations—especially the Ittanmomen Plan—often feature dramatic makeup, we can also create a softer and more natural appearance.

For this look, I used a subtle touch of purple eyeshadow. If you have any preferences regarding your makeup style or intensity, please let your makeup artist know on the day of your visit. 😊

This image has a much stronger nighttime atmosphere than the previous one. Since Yokai are said to come alive after dark, this setting creates the perfect mysterious mood. ✨

What is Ittanmomen?

Have you ever heard of Ittanmomen?

Ittanmomen is a yokai from Japanese folklore that appears as a long strip of white cloth, said to be around ten meters in length. It quietly drifts through the night sky, looking like nothing more than an ordinary piece of fabric. However, once it spots a person, it suddenly attacks by wrapping itself around its victim like a snake.

It may not look particularly frightening, but the way it attacks is definitely terrifying! 😱😱😱

If you ever see a long white cloth gracefully floating through the night sky in Japan… it might just be Ittanmomen.

A wig is included with the Ittanmomen Plan. You can choose between two styles: the blonde wig shown here or a two-tone black-and-blonde wig. You’ll be able to see both options and decide which you prefer on the day of your visit.

One of my favorite details is the decorative sticker accessories that resemble facial piercings. These accessories are all included in the package price.

You may choose to reduce the number of stickers or even remove them entirely, except for the chain above the nose. Please feel free to discuss your preferences with your makeup artist during your appointment. 😊✨

Kimono Coordinate Plan

She looks just like a doll—so adorable! 😍😍😍

The Kimono Coordinate Plan offers two different options: Plan A and Plan B.

• Plan A: A complete package with a pre-selected hairstyle and kimono, recommended for first-time kimono wearers or anyone unsure about styling.
• Plan B: A fully customizable plan that allows you to choose your hairstyle, kimono, and accessories to express your own personality.

For this session, she selected a chic and sophisticated kimono. Since she wanted a simple overall look, we kept the styling elegant while adding lace, ribbons, and pearls for a fashionable finish. 🎀

Tips for Choosing Kimono Accessories

For this coordination, I selected accessories using only the three main colors found in the kimono: white, red, and black.

Choosing accessories for a kimono may seem difficult, but there’s actually an easy styling trick:

• Choose accessories that match colors already used in the kimono’s design.

This simple approach creates a balanced and elegant appearance. Of course, our staff are always happy to recommend accessories that suit your style, so don’t hesitate to ask.

For her makeup, I used soft orangey-pink tones to create a natural finish. This gentle makeup style perfectly complements her doll-like appearance.

Many guests request natural makeup for this plan, making it an excellent choice if you prefer a softer look. However, if you would like a more dramatic style, we are happy to accommodate your preferences.

The traditional Japanese umbrella adds a beautiful touch of Japanese elegance to the scene. For this session, she selected our antique-style photo booth.

Although the booth has a distinctly Western atmosphere, it pairs wonderfully with traditional Japanese kimono and accessories.

What is Taisho Roman?

Between 1912 and 1926, Japan experienced a cultural movement known as Taisho Roman, in which traditional Japanese fashion blended beautifully with Western influences.

People of the era often wore kimono or hakama with leather boots and carried lace parasols, creating a unique style that remains popular in Japan today.
